Regarded among the best in all of Abruzzo, in what is known as the homeland of the "rustella". They are rigorously cut and skewered by hand, one by one, masterfully alternating pieces of local sheep meat with cubes of noble fat. Cooking them over live embers on the traditional "furnacella" keeps them incredibly juicy, tender and flavorful, wrapped in the classic aluminum foil packet to preserve their heat.
