The undisputed star among the main courses at this enchanting stilt house overlooking the lagoon. This is not a soup, but a typical and historic Grado-style way of cooking fresh fish, whose variety (sea bream, turbot or sea bass) depends on the day’s catch. It is slowly cooked in a flavorful sauce with garlic, vinegar and plenty of black pepper. In the end, as the ancient fishermen’s tradition dictates, the dish is served with thick, hot white polenta.
