Why try it
Recommendations
Located opposite the Roman archaeological remains, this historic pizzeria has been turning out the typical Pizza Pisana, baked in a pan in a wood-fired oven, since 1935. It is a low, soft local specialty, prepared strictly without mozzarella and topped with a generous base of tomato, capers and anchovies, finished with a sprinkling of parmigiano reggiano. A piece of the city’s gastronomic history with a bold, authentic flavor.
